Drinking water has a lot of benefits, whether it’s skincare to personal health drinking more water will help you through 2017.
2. Invest in skincare.
Skincare is going to be a big trend this year. Make sure to invest in your core skincare products, maybe even schedule an appointment with a dermatologist.
3. Treat yo self
After 2016 I personally think we all should treat ourselves in 2017. Take a break and have a day filled with benefiting yourself. Even if it’s small things such as getting your nails done or taking a relaxing bath.
3.Give back to the community
It is important to give back to our community, local families could use your support. Please look into community service organizations and give back in 2017!
4. Buy more books
Reading is something most of us can enjoy, so in 2017 pick up more books. Try and expand the categories you read, instead of fiction try non fiction, instead of romance try horror.
5.Pick up a hobby
I’ve already picked up my hobby for the year; painting. Find something you enjoy and keep at it! Hobbies are great ways to de stress and add a new source of entertainment in your life.
6. Take a break from your phone once in awhile
We are all addicted to our phones whether we like it or not, maybe in 2017 we can spend more time in the moment rather than having our faces stuck to the screen.
7. Find new music
Just like books, find music that isn’t usually in your playlists!
Journaling is a great way of expressing feeling and letting it all out. When you feel as if you have no one to talk to, pick up a pen and paper and start journaling.
10. Be thankful!
You are here and you are living. Be thankful, there is so much negativity and jealously in this world, you should try to stray away from it. Start thinking of all the good things in your life!
11. Look at what your eating
I know, this sounds like the basic “I’m going to lose weight” resolution, but it’s not. There are so many disgusting things snuck into everyday foods, start looking at ingredients! If you start to eat better, your body overall will feel so much better.
12. Educate yourself
Start brushing up in politics and world history! It is so important to be inform in what is going on in this world. Too many people are uneducated about common issues!
13. Self love
There is no one like you! Start appreciating all the unique things about yourself! Find things that you like and work off them.
14. Give love.
2016 was filled with a lot of hate, it’s time we turn things around and start giving back love.
15. Do everything you have to do in order to achieve happiness.
I can not stress this point enough, stop letting hate ruin your life. If someone or something is bringing sadness into your life please kick them out. I have done this and it feels so much better to know the people I am surrounded by support me and truly love me.
16. Get a planner.
I tend to forget a lot of things I need to do, a planner is the perfect solution!
17. Spend time with the people you love.
In 2016 we lost a lot of very great people, please cherish the time you have left with the people you love.
